Our day tour on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, will take you by bus through different districts of Leipzig. We are going to visit many sights including the Monument of the Battle of the Nations and the adjoining South Cemetery, one of the most beautiful park cemeteries in Germany, where numerous important personalities from Leipzig found their final rest. We will visit the Leipzig Cotton Mill, which has become an internationally acclaimed art and gallery site. There will be a boat trip on the (White) Elster River and the Karl-Heine Canal, which offers a special perspective of the city, the industrial architecture and the floodplain forest.
